2/25/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C arrived to the home of Ben-Nita. Upon arrival to the home setting, Ben-Nita appeared to be in a positive mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHP-C inquired about her day. Ben-Nita discussed with QMHP-C-C her day was well. QMHP-C-C inquired about new behaviors. Mother reports a high level of disrespect from Ben-Nita. 2. Behavior: Ben-Nita contributed to the session and needed some redirection as she was engaged in activity surrounding her as she was utilizing profanity towards her mother as well as her siblings. 1. Intervention: QMHP-C began session by inquiring about Ben-Nitaâs current thoughts, feelings and emotions. QMHP-C assisted Ben-Nita with being able to process on underlying factors that contribute to her negative anger-triggered feelings and thoughts. QMHP-C modeled effective ways with Ben-Nita healthier ways to deal with siblings, peers and family members through positive communication. QMHP-C explored with Ben-Nita periods of time when she has demonstrated good anger control and did not lash out on her mother, peers, and siblings and/or either become verbally or physically aggressive. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C engaged Ben-Nita in a discussion to determine methods that she has used before responding to others with aggressive behaviors. QMHP-C taught Ben-Nita effective communications skills and assertiveness skills to learn to express her feelings in a more constructive manner. QMHP-C modeled positive communication skills and how to express feelings and needs accordingly without disrespecting her mother and others who are in authority and especially her mother being as though her mother reports a high level of disrespect from Ben-Nita. 1. Response: Ben-Nita appeared to be receptive to QMHP-Csâ interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Ben-Nita reported that she tries to communicate with her mother when it comes to situations that cause her to become upset and frustrated. 2. Response: Ben-Nita verbalized to QMHP-C; she continues to struggle with communicating with her mother because she feels as though her mother does not listen to her. Ben-Nita discussed with QMHP-C, âI continue to do everything my mother ask me to do on a daily basis so I will not be the one in the wrongâ.
